Job Description

The Truck Unloader/Putaway will be responsible for unloading product off trucks, using hands and arms in handling and following safety and related work procedures. Aside from unloading trucks, his/her job description also entails properly arranging or storing of items, attaches identifying labels or inbound cases.

Compensation 

All wages starting at a minimum of $19/hr.

Schedule

MONDAY - FRIDAY, 4AM-12:30PM, Non-Exempt (Seasonal) 

Note: As a seasonal hire you will have a defined employment time period, 90 days from the date of hire.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handles loads carefully following lifting safety rules
• Inspects trucks before beginning operations to make sure they are clean and safe
• Work as a team to maintain minimum cases per hour productivity requirements and works with a sense of urgency
• Operate and inspect warehouse equipment to perform role (Stock Chaser, Pallet Jack, etc.)
• Resolve inventory discrepancies through research and physical counts
• Act professionally and remain focused while working
• Cross train in multiple areas, putaway, puller, packer, etc.
• Safely operate all warehouse equipment
• Follow directions of leadership
• Perform cleaning activities as required
• Maintain a safe and clean warehouse
• Maintain a positive attitude.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
