Salary Pay Range:$90,630.26-$116,255.21.Annually
Essential Functions:
- Provides leadership to the day-to-day clinic operations with overseeing the clinical and site support team.
- Provides supervision to clinical staff, offering feedback and guidance to ensure high-quality services that improve patient outcomes.
- Responsible for ensuring the medical and biopsychosocial models are operating collectively to create whole person-centered care.
- Develops training plans for withdrawal management staff by identifying individual and collective staff training needs.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure day-to-day operations are optimal, identifies and addresses any challenges and creates plans to monitor and track outcomes/progress.
- Identifies and implements opportunities for growth and learning for withdrawal management team.
- Ensures culturally specific practices are followed with sensitivity to the AI/AN population’s unique needs.
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team in a recovery-focused environment to reduce harmful effects of substance use and increase the overall well-being of patient’s life and the communities in which they reside.
- Responsible for ensuring a trauma-focused work environment; including the ability to demonstrate an understanding of the historic implications of intergenerational trauma with regards to the AI/AN population.
- Manages crisis situations effectively, utilizing effective clinical judgement to maintain a safe and trauma-informed recovery environment.
- Attends operations meetings and ensures that accurate information about clinic processes, improvements, and challenges are reported to the Operations Director of all GCR programming.
- Ensures staffing is met across all departments to support medically monitored supervision requirements.
- Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Supervisory:
- Supervises and provides day-to-day direction for assigned staff.
- Completes performance evaluations, delivers disciplinary action, hires and terminates staff as appropriate.
- Ensures the hiring, training, promoting, assigning, disciplining and discharging of employees are in accordance with Tribal Law, including without limitation, the Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO).
- Assures staff adherence to all policies and procedures, work, safety and administrative rule, Tribal Law and State Regulations.

Education, Experience, and Licenses:
- Requires a Bachelors in a health care or Human Services field.
- Master’s Degree in health care or Human Services field preferred.
- Requires three (3) years of work experience in alcohol/drug service delivery or social services environment and two (2) additional years of experience working in an OTP setting; in a leadership role is preferred.
- OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Driving Requirements:
- Must maintain a valid Oregon driver’s license or obtain one upon hire, qualify for the Tribe’s vehicle insurance, and provide proof of personal vehicle insurance.
Qualifications, Registrations, and Certifications:
- Requires certification as a Chemical Dependency Counselor (CADC-II or CADC-III) or licensed Professional Nurse, or Registered Nurse.
- Requires two (2) years abstinence from alcohol and chemicals (if recovering person).
- Must have a working knowledge of all OARS related to medically managed detox services.
- Must have leadership experience and the ability to oversee nurses, counselors, and support staff.
- Must have a working knowledge of the Privacy Act/HIPPA and its applications.
- Must have knowledge and experience working within a trauma-informed system of care.
- CPR /First Aid certification required or ability to obtain certification and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Requires working knowledge and proficiency in use of office equipment and computer software such as Microsoft products.
- Must have the ability to resolve conflict while utilizing conflict management philosophies.
- Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, business and telephone etiquette.
- Must have the ability to work at times with minimal supervision.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
