About The Opportunity

Skills required:

  • Thorough knowledge of shipping department and functions (to include scheduling trucks, safety and inspection procedures, etc.)

  • Extensive knowledge of SAP, Emerge, OpenDock, MS Suite of programs, TEAMS, KBX Appt Tool

  • Familiarity with all production and shipping schedules / reports

  • High degree of data entry accuracy

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Excellent attendance record

  • Willingness to perform OT as necessary

  • Current clamp truck and tow motor license (or ability to acquire them)

Description of Job Responsibilities

  • Manage all outgoing shipments from INDR by coord what/where/how of all items due out each day

  • Review/process paperwork for BoLs cut the day before to ensure accuracy and route to proper department

  • Perform inventory transfers (locations) for rollstock, printed liners and finished goods to/from G Street

  • Support fiscal month-end closing processes with accounting dept

  • Set up schedule for trucks shipping product out / coord with Shipping Manager daily

  • Set up schedule for trucks taking printed / unprinted liners to outside destinations (Madera, Pela, Other Menasha plants)

  • Set up dock appointments for incoming raw materials

  • Coordinate movement of rollstock, printed liners, or other materials between INDR and G Street for production schedule; serve as primary contact to coordinate drivers between facilities

  • Coordinate scrapping obsolete inventory / quarantined waste / bad pallets / empty totes / printed waste

  • Manage maintenance and servicing of tow motors at INDR ; get qualified as Mobile Equip Trainer to Certify or Re-certify shipping members

  • Manage / determine disposition of quarantined rollstock/print paper  area

  • Manage baled waste disposition (coord outgoing shipments, delivery of empty trailers, reporting of lbs.)

  • Manage pallet area, replenish sizes as necessary driven by schedule forecasting, support CHEP audits

  • Manage quarantined FGs / printed liner staging area

  • Work on special projects as necessary (e.g. 5S of warehouse to meet customer needs, FIFO system, etc.)

  • With available time, help in shipping dept where possible loading/unloading trucks, organizing locations and pallet area, etc.

  • Support Shipping Manager and work with shipping dept members to create an environment of teamwork and cohesion between shifts and departments
