Counter Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE

Location: Rodeo Drive Store

Status: Part-Time

Compensation: $17.50/hr + Commission(s) & Tip Eligibility

Position Summary: The Kith- Treats Counter Associate is the face of the Kith Treats shop. They are personable, friendly, and focused on delivering a first in class experience to all new and returning Kith-Treats customers. They are passionate about desserts and committed to delivering a best-in-class experience capped off with a beautifully assembled TREAT!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibilities:

• Continuously providing an exceptional experience for each of our Treats customers, capped off with a visually captivating and equally delicious dessert!

• Practicing and mastering the plating & presentation techniques used on each one of our creations.

• Using time between customers to manage inventory levels, to ensure we are always prepared.

• Applying our iconic “Swirl” to our highly sought-after desserts.

• Proactively communicating inventory needs with management. 

• Remaining updated on all company activations, as well as any brand partnerships.

• Adhere to all company processes, policies, and procedures.

• Follow all Food & Safety process, policies, and procedures,

• Adhere to availability and scheduling needs of the business.

• Assist Shops Management team with housekeeping responsibilities.

Special Projects:

• Participate and assist in Physical Inventories as required by the business.

• Assist Merchandising team during visual initiatives as required by the business.

REQUIREMENTS

Availability:

• Open & flexible availability, including but not limited to evenings, overnights, and weekends as well as Holidays.

Experience:

• 1-2 years in a food/beverage position

• 1+ years in a customer facing position is preferred

• 1+ years of cash handling, preferred but not required

• Valid Department of Health Food Handlers Certificate or ServSafe Food Handlers Certificate

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job

• Ability to stand/walk for a prolonged period of time

• Lifting or moving up to 30 pounds

• Bending, twisting as well as climbing of ladders and other physical tasks related to standard retail operations

• Ability to perform business math

• Ability to multi-task

• Efficient communication
