Senior Product Designer

We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to create world-class user experience across our core product set and on multiple platforms. You’ll contribute to shaping the design culture and process from the ground up and get to drive big and meaningful design problems. As part of the Core team your goals will be to help create high customer satisfaction and retention through the creation of industry leading intelligent protection experiences. 

Your work will have a large impact on shaping the experience people have as they use Aura to protect themselves and their families. You’ll collaborate with a high-performing cross-functional team with deep expertise in Marketing, Creative, Product, Engineering, and Analytics.

Key Skills:

• Actively practice and evangelize the customer-centric thinking

• Own and drive the design problems from ideation to execution

• Build the relationship and collaborate closely with the cross-functional teams

• Deeply understand the user needs and the business goals and be able to balance them

• Use quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform the design decisions iteratively

• Create user scenarios, user journey, wireframes, UI designs and prototypes throughout the full cycle of the product development

• Deliver the high-fidelity assets and specs ready for the development cross-platform

• Motion design skills are a major plus

What you bring to the table:

• Strong portfolio showcasing the problem solving skills and high design caliber; you must provide a link to your portfolio (and password if applicable) to be considered for this role

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a product/UX designer in a relevant direct to consumer industry

• Experience crafting and delivering pixel perfect experiences to mobile and web engineering teams

• Fluency in the latest product design trends, tools and technology cross platform

• Prior design experience in financial, privacy, or security industries are a plus but not required

Aura has a hybrid work model that enables All-stars to split their time between the office and home, providing the advantages of having both in-person time with colleagues, and flexible at-home work/life balance.  This role will be located at our Boston, MA or Austin, TX hub.
