Lead Pharmacy Technician

Type of Work: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Shift Availability: Mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Starting Hourly Pay Rate: $23.75
Location: 814 E Main St, Stamford, CT 06902

Who You Are:

As a Lead Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting our dispensary operations. You’ll work closely with the Pharmacist to ensure accurate prescription processing, inventory management, and a seamless patient experience. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone passionate about cannabis, compliance, and customer care.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist patients with product questions and provide knowledgeable, compassionate service
  • Educate patients on safe and responsible cannabis use
  • Prepare and dispense cannabis products in compliance with state regulations
  • Collaborate with the Pharmacist to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and HIPAA-compliant work environment
  • Stay current on cannabis laws, product knowledge, and industry trends
  • Support and guide team members while fostering a positive work culture
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support dispensary operations

What You'll Bring:

  • Active Pharmacy Technician registration in good standing
  • Minimum 6 months of experience as a pharmacy technician; cannabis experience is a plus
  • At least 6 months of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of medication, dosage measurement, pharmacy law, and medical terminology
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and reliability
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Greenhouse or cannabis software experience is a plus

 

Connecticut Hiring Range$23.75$26.25 USD
