The Pricing Analyst is responsible for the strategy and execution of pricing and updating the order software, Quote Writer. for all aspects of the business for the business unit.  The Pricing Analyst leads and provides pricing analysis and data insights for base model and option and option pricing. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop the pricing strategy for base model pricing and option pricing.
  2. Send order software updates to stakeholders when necessary.
  3. Assists in the development and implementation of dynamic option pricing.
  4. Create innovative solutions to problems based on option mix and usage
  5. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or assigned.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experience in Microsoft Office with expert level of Excel required
  • Experience with Quote Writer software or other order software
  • ERP experience, SAP and Infor (MAPICS) preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM required
  • Analytical thinking and ability to evaluate/manage data from a variety of sources
  • Financial Acumen
  • Problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to drive change and overcome objections of historical precedent to drive support for revised strategy
  • Project management
  • Auto parts, or related parts experience preferred
  • Ability and desire to travel up to 25% annually
  • Mechanical aptitude a plus

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree – Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics desired (or related work experience)
  • 5+years related experience
  • Experience in technical writing, work instructions, specifications or similar documents preferred.
