Job Description Summary:

Aviagen is currently seeking a highly experienced Farm Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the maintenance functions to ensure safe working conditions and to meet or exceed regulatory compliance. And partners with management team to create and maintain a safe work environment.

Job Description:

• General troubleshooting and repair including basic carpentry
• Uses plumbing proficiency to complete work orders tied to plumbing
• Performs day-to-day activities of the maintenance mechanics to achieve safe, timely, and satisfactory work
• Assists other Maintenance team workers with their task
• Performs a variety of semi-skilled general maintenance duties   
• Completes paperwork for work orders as required

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years relevant progressive maintenance experience
• Minimum 2 Years of Electrical experience
• Basic Carpentry Skills
• Proficient in Plumbing
• Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner
• Must have exceptional communication, both verbal and written, attention to detail and the ability to resolve issues efficiently and effectively
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment using excellent organizational skills and precise attention to detail
• Must possess a strong customer-centric attitude, high energy level and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
