Indian River Hospital’s Pediatrics Behavioral Health Unit is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care. As an RN in this unit, you’ll quickly enhance your skillset caring for a variety of patients’ needs through monitoring patients’ health, assessing patients’ pain levels, administering medication and treatments and maintaining up-to-date patient records.

The Behavioral Health Center at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors. Caregivers help patients back to the path of hope, happiness and a better quality of life through the center’s treatment services, counseling, classes and screenings.  

 

A caregiver in this position works days/nights, 6:45pm—7:15am. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

• Provide direct nursing care. 

• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.  

• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.  

• Administer prescribed medications and treatments. 

• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
