About the role

Supervisor within the Warehouse Operations job family. Receives predetermined work assignments that are process-driven, and subject to a moderate level of control and review. Directs subordinates on a course of action based on knowledge of established policies and procedures. Provides input and contributes to managing costs related to a unit or sub unit. Complexity & Problem Solving: Works on issues of limited scope. Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Monitors daily/weekly operations of a unit or sub-unit. Discretion & Impact: Executes specified routine tasks. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules. Meets unit targets typically against a weekly plan. Collaboration & Interaction: Interacts daily with subordinates and/or functional peer groups. Interaction normally involves exchange or presentation of factual information. Conveys straightforward information to audiences. Management & Supervision: Provides immediate supervision to a unit or group of employees. Assigns tasks and monitors work at frequent intervals. Maintains schedules and workflow of the team. A portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the unit or sub-unit. Generally supervises semi-skilled employees (e.g., assemblers, operators, packagers, material tracking, clerical).
Supervisor (Salaried People Manager with at least 1 direct report.) Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
2. High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
experience preferred.
3. Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse
environment.
4. Previous training in ISO procedures strongly preferred.
5. Must have a good understanding of inventory control procedures.
6. Must have good interpersonal skills, including effective verbal and written
communication.
7. Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
8. Must be able to operate and train others on forklift and pallet jack operations.
9. Must be detail oriented and able to work in a fast paced environment under pressure.
10. Ability to work independently and be a self–starter.
11. Must have good time management skills.
12. Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft Office.
13. Ability to react to change productively and handle other tasks as required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. General climate controlled environment within a warehouse facility.
2. Prolonged sitting and repetitive motion due to extended computer use.
3. Frequent exposure to production, distribution area working conditions, including
noise, and dust exposure and lift truck traffic.
4. Stress related to conflicting priorities and meeting schedule deadlines.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
1. Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 50 lb
