About the role

A career as a Global Delivery (Professional Services) Division Lead, will allow you to hire, retain, train, mentor, motivate, and empower a world-class division spanning multiple teams of program managers, team leads, analysts, and subject matter experts that support the onboarding process of new Clearwater clients!

In this role, you will identify, communicate, and facilitate learning and career-growth opportunities for each member of your division. Serve as a confident, knowledgeable, and patient escalation point for high-profile inquiries from client, Clearwater, and third-party stakeholders including key decision-makers and senior leadership. You will have the ability to interact with C-level executives on critical design decisions when implementing the Clearwater solution. In addition, you will design, implement, and track quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure the success of projects, people, and processes. You will also strategize with product management and development teams to improve our client onboarding experience, shorten delivery timeframes, and develop repeatable, scalable processes. Help guide and advocate for client and department. Ensure successful transfer of knowledge and responsibilities from Sales to Global Delivery and from Global Delivery to the steady-state Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Establishes operational objectives and workplans that are reviewed by senior management and delegates assignments to subordinates in alignment with objectives.

  • Involved in developing/modifying company policies impacting operations. 

  • Managing through erroneous decisions that will result in critical delay(s) in schedules and/or unit operations and may jeopardize overall business activities.

  • Regularly interacts with senior management on cross-dept matters. 

  • Requires ability to change thinking and gain acceptance, incl. sensitive situations.

  • Works on detailed scoping in collaboration with clients.

  • Understands industry best practices and can help guide clients.  

  • Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, etc. 

  • Drives continuous improvement across Clearwater on the application, training, and improvement of Clearwater Way methodologies to implement and onboard clients, including participation as a sponsor in CW’s Client Engagement Model.

  • Establishes budgets, schedules, workplans and performance requirements.

  • Manages activities of two or more sections or departments.

  • Exercises supervision in terms of costs, methods, and staffing.

  • In some instances, this manager may have subordinate supervisors.

Requirements:

  • Have worked within a global framework where operational teams are coordinating across different time zones

  • Ability to manage people and projects effectively in an Agile system and matrix reporting environment

  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to resolve competing priorities under pressure

  • Ability to clearly, concisely, and confidently communicate information in written and verbal contexts, including small and large group settings for both internal and external (client-facing) audiences

  • Track record of delivering projects on time and in budget

  • Ability to seek out, recommend and implement continuous service improvements within the project timeline (and future projects)

  • Change management

  • Experience interfacing with CXO level clients

  • Familiarity with accounting and reporting for fixed income, structured products, and/or derivatives

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.  

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.  

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities. 

Education and Experience:

  • 7+ years of professional work experience in financial services in a leadership role

  • Managed teams of 10+ in a project management capacity.

  • Experience with Project Management tools.

  • Securities and financial markets knowledge.

  • Consulting experience.
