LMI is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to support a client located in the Pentagon, in Arlington, VA. 

Responsibilities

  • Exercise program, product and project management duties over multiple AI products and prototypes for the OSD Chief Digital AI Officer (CDAO), with a focus on Machine Learning (ML), Computer Vision, Data Architectures and DataOps
  • Support CDAO with tracking and managing CDAO Mission Initiatives (MI). This includes management of project plans, schedules, budgets, briefings, and risks. This person will also assist in developing metrics and coordinating with appropriate CDAO personnel to track project metrics.
  • Provide analytical and problem solving for various mission critical IT systems
  • Identify, assess, document, and report potential programmatic risk and provide risk mitigation
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance on agile software development, providing insights and documentation on recommended frequencies and durations of software releases and sprints during project planning and execution
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert and advisor to CDAO in Cloud, DevSecOps, Lean-Agile, DOD IT Acquisition matters.
  • Support all divisions for program/product/project management, from Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief, to Warfighter Health, then Algorithmic Warfare and the Joint Warfighting / Intelligence Community divisions.
  • Conduct Data Operations management for the CDAO directorate

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • DoD Secret clearance required. Must have, at a minimum, an active Interim Secret Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Experience leading a team of advanced analytics professionals.
  • Experience with Agile project management.
  • Have a firm understanding of agile code development, integration, test, quality, and configuration control processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and standard concepts, practices, and procedures

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Graduate degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

  • PMP Certification
  • Agile Certification
