CLA is currently seeking a Learning Experience Design Senior. This role will design engaging and effective learning solutions for all modalities, including webcasts, eLearnings, in person experiences, videos and more and for a variety of curriculums, ranging from technical content to leadership to power skills and business skills.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Learning Experience Design Senior role:

Learning Strategy & Architecture

  • Gather learning needs and supporting the design of learning solutions aligned with business goals and learner profiles.

Learning Experience Design (LXD)

  • Apply instructional design principles to develop digital, blended, and instructor-led learning materials.
  • Create and design all modalities, from videos to job aids to learning experience conferences.
  • Assist in collecting and analyzing data to measure effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Apply User Experience (UX)/User Interface (UI) and accessibility standards to learning content.

Technology & Innovation

  • Stay informed about and utilize emerging tools and trends in learning design and technology.
  • Utilize AI tools in content creation.

Collaboration & Project Support

  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) and team members to design learning content.
  • Coordinate project tasks, track timelines, and communicate progress to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Serve as a peer advisor to fellow teammates and assist in on the job training and development of new and developing team members.

What you will need:

  • 5+ years' relevant experience required.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required. A combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • An advanced degree in instructional design or related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM, Agile), assessment and evaluation design.
  • Proficiency with eLearning and video authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond, Clipchamp).
  • Demonstrated ability to work strategically, manage ambiguity, and influence stakeholders.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires <10% travel.
