About the role

Join our Heart Station team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center and join our Cardiology team in providing excellence in patient care!

Position Highlights:

  • Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, weekdays, 8a-5p, Monday through Friday.
  • Location: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Heart Lab in Winston-Salem, NC

What You Will Do

Provides all cardiac related procedures per order of physician and in accordance with policies and procedure guidelines. Assesses patients when performing EKG, attaching Event and Holter Monitor. Reports findings to physician if necessary.

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma with a strong science background. 
  • Must pass credentialing examination for Certified Cardiographic Technician within two years of employment and maintain required yearly CEUs after receipt of credential. 
  • Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification.

  • Ability to plan and arrange work schedule to reach defined objectives 
  • Ability to apply knowledge using varied procedures 
  • Basic knowledge of Human Anatomy with emphasis on the Cardiovascular system 
  • Basic knowledge of indications, mode of action, side effects, contraindications of Cardiovascular drugs 
  • Basic knowledge of the Cardiac Conduction System and Cardiac Dysrhythmias Competent to recognize critical rhythms and report to physician
