Job Description

MUFG Investor Services IT team is looking for a talented Application Support Analyst who will be responsible for supporting and developing applications.

Successful applicant should have experience in working with Appian solutions for Financial and Fund Administration Institutions. This person will be responsible for the delivery of internal operations and support, he/she will interact with the external vendors, and be part of an internal team managing a portfolio of in-house/vendor applications. The candidate will play a crucial role of linking the business teams and the IT solutions group.

You Will: 

• Play a key role as part of a global support team covering internal Appian solutions.
• Provide Level 2 Incident & Problem Management support by working with vendors and/or Internal support teams to resolve technical and user issues during product migration and BAU.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the internal Appian solutions, including system architecture, data structures, and interfaces to other applications.
• Knowledge of the Appian platform, from design, to underlying architecture, to inform effective code reviews and technical feedback.
• Contribute to application performance analysis and system tuning.
• Document IT user procedures and requirements around IT Change Management. Document business user procedures and support user training.
• Support Project Managers in ongoing initiatives related to new solutions.
• Participate in co-ordination and rollout of new platform releases with business users.
• Development and enhancement of the platforms to increase automation and expand the utilization of features. Identifying process constraints and improvements.
• Internal co-ordination between distinct internal IT functions and groups to ensure high quality service delivery and total ownership of issues to complete resolution.
• Support the business in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives.

Qualifications

You Have:

• A minimum of a college degree in Business or IT related field of study.
• Appian Analyst, Appian Application Administrator or Appian Associate Developer Certification.
• 3+ years in a team responsible for providing analytical and production support including administration of business applications.
• Experience with configuration, deployment and debugging of enterprise software applications.
• Experience in creating test scripts and methodologies, as well as implementing and executing test scripts.

All the Better:

• Knowledge of IaaS (e.g. Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure)
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server environments, Linux, Java applications, Microsoft IIS, Apache Tomcat, SQL Server, Oracle DB.
• Knowledge of System Development Lifecycle and standard software development methodologies including ITIL standards (certification will be a plus).
