Maintenance Apprentice

Description

· Learns to perform breakdown maintenance as well as predictive and preventative maintenance.

· Identifies potential safety problems and makes needed safety adjustments as necessary.

· Rebuild components as needed.

· Learns to repair, fabricate, install, dismantle, or move machinery and heave equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings.

· Learns to perform corrective maintenance, lubrication, and equipment inspection.

· Assists in identifying causes during inspection and make needed adjustments as necessary.

· Provide written feedback on work performed on work orders, inspection check list and repair requisitions.

· Assists in maintaining machines and equipment to operate at peak efficiency with maximum utilization and up time.

· Learn to perform predictive, preventative as well as inspection maintenance.

· Effectively communicates to production operators and other maintenance personnel.

Requirements

-Overnight Shift

-Must own/provide minimum hand tools per required tool listing.

-Must attain Level 1 Maintenance grade within first 12 months in the position.

-Previous maintenance related experience preferred.
