Position Summary:
The AI and Data Science Lead will be responsible for developing and implementing a unified data platform to centralize and manage all Project Management Information System (PMIS) data as well as productize it for quick deployment on projects globally. This role will also explore, test, and implement agentic AI solutions from SaaS vendors to enhance decision-making, automation, and project efficiency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data interoperability, visualization, and AI-driven insights for construction project management. #LI-VB1
Major Responsibilities:
- Define and guide the strategy for AI implementation within the Infrastructure Global Business Unit, including developing a team for supporting a multi-year initiative.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of a unified data platform for PMIS data storage and accessibility.
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithms to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.
- Design, build, and deploy machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Refine the organization's data analytics strategy and AI roadmap to enhance digital transformation efforts
- Evaluate, test, and recommend agentic AI solutions from SaaS vendors to drive automation, predictive analytics, and operational efficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Construction, HR and other functions to understand and standardize data requirements and create solutions.
- Implement data integration strategies to connect various PMIS tools such as Oracle Aconex, Unifier, Primavera P6, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and other enterprise systems.
- Lead enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) reporting efforts, translating analytical findings into actionable narratives using tools like Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and SQL-based solutions.
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify AI use cases, conduct feasibility assessments, and drive AI adoption across project workflows.
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance while managing access control for various project stakeholders.
- Provide training, support, and documentation for digital tools, AI applications, and data analytics platforms.
