Description

The Learning Experience Designer, Bookworms (Contractor) will develop a professional learning workshop and a contractor certification for the Bookworms K-5 Reading & Writing curriculum from May 2024 to July 2024. This role will collaborate with Learning Architects to create the necessary deliverables.

Here are some things you can expect to accomplish in this role:

• You will design the learning experiences for a 2-hour in-person curriculum launch workshop for the Bookworms K-5 Reading & Writing curriculum.
• You will create the appropriate deliverables for the workshop, including storyboard, slide deck, agenda, design documentation, supplemental materials, and facilitation videos.
• You will develop a corresponding contractor certification for the Bookworms K-5 Reading & Writing curriculum to support contractors with delivery.
• You will collaborate with Learning Architects to ensure the design and delivery of high-quality professional learning experiences.

About You:

• (Required) Advanced experience with the Bookworms K-5 Reading & Writing curriculum.
• (Required) Proven ability in designing and facilitating professional development workshops.
• Proficiency in designing with Google Slides and Google Docs.
• Ability to adhere to a defined project calendar to complete tasks.
• Advanced skills in written communication and interpersonal communication.
• Commitment to maintaining open communication and collaboration with Project Manager(s) regarding progress.
• Openness to receiving constructive feedback and implementing it promptly.
