Job Description

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for a contracting opportunity for one of our premier clients. As a Project Manager for Issuer Solutions, you will lead and coordinate a variety of projects, collaborating with many cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate must be comfortable operating in an environment where scope, deliverables, responsibilities, and expectations may change at a moment’s notice.

Location: Onsite in Berkeley Heights, NJ; 5 days per week

Project Length: 6 months plus

Compensation Range: This role will compensate $75/HR/W2 depending upon years of experience, education, and relevant certifications. 

• Manage moderately complex projects and/or components/phases of larger projects.
• Consulting, troubleshooting, problem resolution, project management, customer satisfaction, people management, strategic planning, training, and documentation.
• Ensure project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation processes are followed, including leading and driving project timeline, risk and issue management, and scope change management.
• Develop, coordinate, and execute project plans, task schedules, and resource activities to ensure on-time and effective project delivery.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional, cross-departmental, cross-company teams that are responsible for all aspects of a project, from initiation to closure.
• Manage the project budget, including understanding and validating estimates, cost variance tracking and managing project resources effectively.
• Monitor key metrics throughout the project lifecycle (Scope, Budget, Risk, Resources, and Schedule) and provide detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.
• Provide accurate and timely communication to key stakeholders and leadership on project progress, challenges, and recommendations.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to project management team and others on best practices, standards, tools, and methodologies for managing projects successfully.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of progressive project management experience, including management of major projects, in a large operating environment.
• PMP Certification is desirable.
• Knowledge of and strong demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, as well as project lifecycles.
• Self-starter, exemplifying strong initiative and management skills, with the ability to operate in and adapt to a fast-paced environment to achieve desired results.
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Excellent skills in MS Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
• Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience.
