Pay Range: $80,102-$88,922
Job Summary:
The Senior Investigator will be part of a global team operating Hydro’s Alert Line, supporting and conducting investigations of reported concerns. To support the organization by investigating allegations of fraud, misconduct, and non-compliance, while analyzing data to detect risks, inefficiencies, and irregularities. The role ensures transparency, accountability, and adherence to organizational policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
Required Education/Experience:
- Minimum two (2) years of work experience with internal investigations and/or managing whistleblower reports, working internally or as a consultant.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, social services, audit, law or engineering.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong report writing skills.
- Ability to communicate in a structured and balanced way to all levels of the organization.
- Experience in use of digital tools for advanced analytics and computer forensics is an advantage.
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish is an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
- Daily management of the Alert Line for North America.
- Receive, process and assess all reports.
- Initiate internal discussions in GIA&I.
- Communicate with Reporters to obtain further details.
- Gather relevant information and data from Line Management to support the assessment of the Alert Line.
- Coordinate with HR/Legal/HSE/Compliance and others during the investigation.
- Gather and analyze relevant data and information from internal and external sources, including governance documents, communication and financial data.
- Conduct and document interviews of involved parties.
- Prepare detailed investigation reports outlining findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
- Communication with stakeholders at BU-level.
- Contribute to quarterly reporting and other regular updates to ENA management.
