About the role
The Director, Healthcare Sales will utilize their clinical knowledge, communication skills, and marketing abilities to initiate one-on-one dialogue with referral sources, families, and prospective clients to help explain and educate on home health services, while also supporting sales and marketing through educational programs, meetings, and presentations to assigned hospitals.

Responsibilities of the Position
1. Develops and maintains a professional relationship with referral sources, medical professionals, and other health care providers and facilities throughout the assigned territory.
2. Develops and implements sales/marketing plan for in home healthcare.
3. Develops new referrals for the company including, but not limited to, acute hospital outpatient practices, pediatric and adult Medicaid MCO case managers, commercial insurance case managers, and school districts.
4. Responsible for census development through the implementation of external and internal sales and marketing programs with both existing and new accounts.
5. Maintains up-to-date key accounts records including background, contact history, objectives, referral trends, etc.
6. Reports progress versus goals and census development barriers.
7. Performs sales calls on a routine basis.
8. Promotes COFK’s services by clearly articulating the features and benefits of the company.
9. Coordinates safe discharges of pediatric and adult clients to the home setting.
10. Assists the clinical liaison team with the overflow of referrals.
11. Participates in various marketing functions.
12. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Job Conditions
1. Position may be stressful in terms of meeting deadlines.
2. Travel is required.
3. 16 weeks of extensive role-specific training. After completion of training, you have the opportunity to work 1-2 days hybrid.
Qualifications
1. Must hold a current driver's license in good standing in the state of practice
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
3. Two years of experience in pediatric home health is preferred.
4. Sales/marketing experience in health care preferred.
5. Three or more years of health care sales/marketing experience preferred.
6. Strong leadership and organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Must demonstrate exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
8. The ability to build credibility quickly and build relationships to nurture and maintain strong relationships with clinicians in the territory.
Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· The ability to frequently use hands to type, write, push, or feel.
· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
Travel:
· This role is required to travel frequently to complete agency business.
