Sigma Defense is seeking a Production Technician Level 1. General duties include assisting with build/assembly and testing for electronic communications systems during production. This in an entry-level position on-site in Perry, GA. A clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Requirements

• Citizen of the United States of America.
• At least one year of relevant experience.
• Must be able to utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Must be able to differentiate between typical electrical wiring colors like red, green, yellow, blue, etc.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, and walk for long period of time.
• Must be able to climb ladders, use fine manipulation and manual dexterity, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods of time.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active, DoD-issued Secret security clearance.

Education Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Assemble or install equipment and parts requiring wiring, soldering, or connecting mechanical and electrical components.
• Perform mechanical assembly of systems/components to specified quality standards following applicable engineering data and detailed assembly instructions.
• Build data and power cable assemblies referencing detailed wire diagrams, pinouts, and instructions.
• Perform routine tasks such as maintaining various system records, inventory control of equipment, tools and test equipment used during performance of daily duties.
• Assist with maintaining inventory, preparing order quantities, and tracking resupply activities.
• Prepares requisition documents and forwards to applicable sources.
• Requisitions, receives, stores, issues, segregates, cares, preserves, inspect, and accurately inventories equipment and repair parts.
• Achieve and maintain proficiency with applicable production and assembly processes; complete all assigned work in a timely manner to meet or exceed established deadlines.
