Position Overview: We are seeking a client-focused and detail-oriented Select Business Account Manager to manage and support a portfolio of commercial insurance clients. This role is responsible for servicing client accounts, supporting new business and renewal activity, processing policy changes, coordinating with carriers, and delivering a high-quality client experience. The ideal candidate has strong commercial lines knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, Producers, carriers, and internal teams. This position plays a key role in supporting client retention, accurate policy servicing, and effective coordination across the Client-Carrier-Agency relationship.
Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position working in our office located in Dallas, TX with hybrid work arrangements considered.
Professional Responsibilities:
- Manage and service a portfolio of select business accounts, providing timely, professional, and accurate support to clients.
- Pre-qualify new business opportunities according to agency guidelines and gather underwriting information needed for quotes and submissions.
- Collaborate with Producers to collect client information, prepare applications, obtain quotes, and support new business opportunities.
- Assist with policy renewals and remarketing efforts to ensure clients receive appropriate coverage and competitive carrier placement.
- Prepare proposals, collect signatures, submit documents to carriers, and manage timely follow-up throughout the application and submission process.
- Educate clients on insurance coverages, exclusions, exposures, and policy details to help them make informed decisions.
- Process new business, endorsements, cancellations, certificates of insurance, policy documents, and other service requests in accordance with carrier requirements and agency procedures.
- Document client interactions, policy changes, account updates, follow-up items, and service activity within the Agency Management System.
- Respond to client, carrier, Producer, and internal communications professionally, accurately, and within expected timeframes.
- Handle first notice of loss by directing clients to carrier reporting resources, submitting claims when needed, and explaining the claims process.
- Work with clients and carriers to resolve audit disputes, billing questions, coverage concerns, and other account issues.
