We are seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Platform Engineering Manager to lead the design, implementation, and operation of enterprise endpoint security solutions. This role will manage a team of engineers responsible for deploying, maintaining, and enhancing endpoint security platforms to protect against advanced threats, malware, and unauthorized access. 

The position emphasizes DevOps mindsets, Quality of Protection (QoP), observability, and automation to improve coverage, detect agent issues, and enable self-service and automated capabilities for SOC operations. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strategic vision and strong leadership skills to drive both operational excellence and security innovation.

  • Lead and mentor a team of endpoint security engineers, providing guidance, performance management, and career development.
  • Define and drive the endpoint security strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise security objectives and business priorities.
  • Oversee the deployment, configuration, and optimization of endpoint security platforms, including Microsoft Defender (MDE), Trend Micro, and Cisco Secure Endpoint, to ensure effective threat prevention and detection.
  • Implement QoP and observability frameworks, using monitoring and analytics to detect coverage gaps, agent issues, and anomalies across devices and environments.
  • Enable automation and orchestration to support SOC operations, streamline incident response, and enhance endpoint protection coverage.
  • Explore and implement AI-driven solutions to proactively detect agent failures, performance anomalies, and emerging threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Client & Server Device Engineering, Cloud, CDC, Compliance & other key stakeholders —to ensure seamless integration of endpoint security solutions into the enterprise ecosystem.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including solution evaluation, escalation handling, and performance tracking to optimize platform effectiveness.
  • Oversee platform outages, releases, and change management, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Develop, enforce, and continuously improve endpoint security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Establish and maintain metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to track endpoint security effectiveness and progress against objectives.
  • Support incident response activities involving endpoints, working closely with SOC and threat intelligence teams to contain and remediate threats efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 8+ years in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong expertise with endpoint security platforms, specifically MDE, Trend Micro, and Cisco Secure Endpoint.
  • Hands-on experience with EDR, antivirus, vulnerability management, monitoring tools, and automation frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure, including Windows, macOS, Linux, mobile devices, and cloud environments.
  • Proven experience implementing QoP metrics, observability solutions, and automation, leveraging IaC or DevOps principles.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred.
