Take a lead role working with business and IT teams to configure and maintain critical Business pages, rules, workflows and tags within the ALIP (Accenture Life Insurance & Annuity Platform) system for our retail annuities and life solutions. Work across Operations, Product Innovation, New Business and other departments to develop and convert user requirements into our requirements and functional requirement specifications that other configuration analysts can understand and use. Design the structure of new Business Configuration modules, working with these business departments to translate user needed into the simplest executable configurations. Build page groups, rule groups, lookup tables, workflows, and tags and ensure all standards are met. Work with these Business and IT partners plus Product Configuration (Actuarial) teams on new product development, enhancements, issues, and overall work prioritization, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with these partners as they arise. Lead junior team members through all of these activities and the Agile process and ensure the quality and delivery of their work. You will report to the

 

What you do:

 

·       Requirements: Serve as lead partner with other departments such as Operations, Product Innovation, New Business and other departments through the Agile process for requirements gathering and refinement. Help with the conversation of user requirements into our requirements. Convert requirements into functional requirement specifications. Communicate pros and cons of different approaches to business audience.

·       Design: Estimate development effort for given our requirements and high and detailed levels. Design moderate and complex page groups, rule groups, lookup tables, workflows, and tags and ensure all standards are met for both new products and enhancements. Communicate details and rational for design choices to both technical and business audiences.

·       Documentation and Standards: You will develop documentation with standards for how to build Business Configuration. Maintain templates for Agile artifacts .Review and ensure quality of Artifacts created by Business Configuration team members.

·       Execution: Implement moderate and complex page groups, rule groups, lookup tables, workflows, and tags. Develop unit test scripts. Maintain all required Agile artifacts for reference by groups across the end-to-end process such as Product Innovation, RSP, Accenture, and QA (testing) and ATA.

·       Coaching: You will review and provide guidance, input and corrections to Business Configurators' Configuration Design, Execution and Documentation. Train Business Configurators to raise skill levels.

·       Troubleshooting: You will investigate and resolve configuration issues in test and production environments as they arise, both alone and with business and technical/QA partners.

 

 

What you bring:

·       4-5 years of experience required

·       4+ years of technical, operational or requirements development experience required

·       Four-year degree required, or exceptional/extended work experience
