• Drive innovation from concept through production, transforming customer requirements and emerging technologies into robust, scalable product designs that enhance system performance and reliability.  
• Advance engineering excellence by leading feasibility studies, detailed design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturability optimization to ensure products meet stringent environmental, functional, and regulatory demands.  
• Enable the connected systems of the future by translating customer and market needs into high-impact engineering solutions that advance global technological progress. 

 

Responsibilities:

At TE Connectivity, you’ll be part of a global collaborative culture where your innovative approach and actions have the potential to transform the world of tomorrow. In this role you’ll: 

• Contribute to fulllifecycle product development by supporting concept generation, 3D CAD modeling, engineering analysis, prototype fabrication, validation testing, and industrialization activities. 
•  
• Promote technical rigor and design integrity by applying strong engineering fundamentals—leveraging mechanical simulations, precise GD&Tdriven CAD models, tolerance analyses, comprehensive documentation, and robust failureanalysis methods. 
•  
• Support crossfunctional project execution by integrating engineering inputs across multidisciplinary teams and workstreams, ensuring alignment on requirements, constraints and deliverables, while consistently meeting project timelines and commitments. 

 

You’re the kind of person we are looking for if you:

•    Have earned a high school diploma or GED 

•    Are currently enrolled in, or pursuing, a ​BA/BS​ Degree in ​Mechanical Engineering​, ​Manufacturing Engineering​ or ​Related Major​ from an accredited college or university—or have equivalent work experience (gap year students may also be considered). 

•    Preferably have prior internship experience or have completed a major project 

•    Are authorized to work in the U.S.
