This position reports to the Director, Global Brand Strategy & Planning.

 

Locations: Calgary-AB, Saskatoon-SK, Loveland-CO

 

What you will do:

  • Lead the development and execution of Nutrien's brand amplification strategy, working collaboratively to maximize brand understanding, trust, and engagement.
  • Analyze data to derive valuable insights for crafting content and messaging strategies that drive performance across various communication platforms and social media channels.
  • Provide strategic guidance to enhance thought leadership positioning, plan communication campaigns, and drive engagement across all communication platforms and channels.
  • Build and nurture relationships across Nutrien's global marketing network to facilitate brand integration, amplification, and strategic content curation.
  • Manage and track performance metrics for paid and earned media, oversee social channels' content, and ensure brand integrity. Collaborate with external agencies and internal teams as necessary.
  • Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and the broader BCC (Brand, Communications, and Culture) team to ensure the quality, accessibility, and reliability of social channels

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 8 or more years of brand management and integrated marketing communications experience, with a preference for experience in a global company or marketing agency.
  • Proven expertise in stakeholder relations and change management, particularly in large-scale projects affecting cross-functional teams.
  • Experience leading a team in creating brand communications and content that engage and inspire the audience to take action.
  • Proficiency in brand and communications monitoring and measurement, utilizing primary and secondary research, as well as tools such as Social Radar, Sprout Social, Facebook Insights, YouTube Insights, Google Analytics, HootSuite, and TweetDeck.
  • Demonstrated experience with organic and paid media campaigns, as well as content creation across digital, print, and broadcast channels.
  • Comfort with exploring and integrating new technologies into marketing plans and activations.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on project requirements.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Office 365.
  • Proficiency in graphic design best practices and principles for print and web projects.

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

Salary Range: $97,760 - $134,420 This range is estimated for Manager, Brand Definition & Amplification in Colorado. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
