Field Manager

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Field Manager is responsible coordinating, managing and monitoring production sites ensuring proper executive and productivity. The Field Manager will perform the below duties and other duties as assigned.  

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES 

• Oversee assigned crews to ensure proper execution and productivity  
• Ensure proper execution of all task assigned within the time allotted 
• Conduct site inspections prior to beginning jobs, as needed, assessing the timing and feasibility of sites 
• Conduct after site inspections and quality checks, as needed 
• Identify any plant, tree or turf issues 
• Prioritize daily work lists, assign teams, train and oversee crew 
• Ensure completion of daily time sheets and weekly reports 
• Serve as the first line of customer contact on job sites 
• Ensure that all machinery and standards are strictly maintained, meeting quality and safety expectations 
• Manage assigned staff to ensure compliance with all Company safety and operational procedures 
• Close all assigned work orders ensuring proper documentation in the designated time allotted 
• Provide superior customer service 

Requirements

EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE As associate’s degree in landscaping or related field or equivalent experience.  2-5 years’ experience including supervisory experience.

• Ability to understand customer concerns and providing the appropriate response 
• Must be able to lift/carry limbs and equipment  
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the jobs 
• Able to motivate, develop and direct employees 
• Superior Judgment and problem solving skills
