Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer (Automation Focus) will focus on the Ramp up and stabilizing to target output of the 3 major automation projects for Abrasive-Conversion in LctP. This person will also focus on the improvement of our current process with a systematic approach to improve OEE.  This person will further development regarding significant cost reduction of the remaining value streams (conversion of special forms, packaging of small packs, manual packaging). This person will also work to implement i4.0 solutions for data collection, communication, and analytics to support the improvement of PA4.

Primary duties:

Ramp-up and stabilizing 3 automation projects (CnP, PnP, BnP) (Focus 2024, 2025)

Support manufacturing to improve OEE on Manual / Semi-Automated / Automated Processes

Support i4.0 Team with Data collect and automated reporting and drive implementation in PA4

Developing future concept for automating non automated processes

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, Ability, Training, Experience, etc.

Proficiency*

General Know how as Mechanical engineer -Advanced

Focus know how in automation of manufacturing processes- Advanced

Machine Controls experience (PLC / Robotics / Database) -Senior

PGL Moderator (VSD, DFMA, LLD - Senior

Leading of technical projects in an international environment and with different functions -Senior

Investment calculation understanding -Intermediate

Education

Bachelor’s Degree X

Degree as machine engineer with focus automation

Bosch PGL Advanced or similar -5 years
