As a Security Professional Flex - Unarmed Patrols in Freedom, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you’ll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability—giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing an engaging presence for tenants and visitors. Your routine patrols and visible presence will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your exceptional customer service and communication skills will support a positive experience for everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or occurrences as required by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement when applicable to address security-related issues.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential problems and provide reassurance to tenants and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
