Compensation:
$23.00 - $24.00/hour; direct experience highly considered.
Job Summary: MSI is seeking a Full-time, Accounts Payable Clerk for our Westminster, CO office. This position is responsible for producing financials, paying bills, researching invoices, and bank reconciliations for assigned association.
Responsibilities:
- Preparing of Monthly and Yearly Financial Statements
- Preparing invoices for Community Manager approval; this includes verifying balances forward and/or charges being billed
- Entering/posting invoices for payment from all sources
- Prepare/print checks on a monthly basis
- Releasing checks to vendors
- File and maintain payment information on all paid invoices
- Posting repairs to homeowner accounts
- Monthly bank reconciliations/posting interest earned
- Monitoring CD accounts; informing Community Managers/Board of Directors when a CD is maturing
- Work with Community Manager and HOA team to develop annual budgets
- Other duties as assigned
General Duties: Maintain a neat and clean office environment, and complete work within the time frame allotted. Assist other Accounting Services employees and cross-train on other duties within the Accounting Services department.
QualificationsMust have strong skills and experience in:
- General Accounting skills
- Knowledge of journal entries
- Familiarity with financial statemen
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
- Ten-key and data entry skills
- Organizational Skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
- Engaging team layer who takes ownership of responsibilities with minimal supervision

- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs., occasionally
