Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a full-time Early Career Systems Engineer (Flight Test Discipline Engineer). In this role, you will support flight test activities at Patuxent River Naval Air Station on the F-35B and F-35C aircraft as part of the Air Vehicle (AV) Department. The AV systems disciplines are responsible for verification and expansion of capabilities in developmental and operational test. You will be exposed to test planning, supporting test briefings/debriefings, providing real time control room monitoring during test events/flights, requesting/analyzing post-flight data, post-test reporting, and supporting anomaly resolution. The successful candidate will have an interest in test engineering. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Desired skills

• Computer programming experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and MS Windows operating system.
