General Description/Primary Purpose:
The Department of Nutrition and Dietetics is seeking a part-time, 12-month, non-tenure earning, Instructor to teach nutrition courses. This position will report to the Department Chair, Dr. Andrea Arikawa.
Position responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Teach assigned courses in Nutrition, ensuring alignment with curriculum objectives
- Hold regular office hours to provide academic support and guidance to students
- Maintain effective communication with students, addressing inquiries and providing timely feedback
- Adhere to department guidelines and procedures, fostering a collaborative and professional environment

The position is expected to begin on August 4, 2025

Required Qualifications:
- Registered Dietitian credentials
- Master’s degree in nutrition, or a closely related field
- Teaching/Education experience
Preferred Qualifications / Skills:
- Experience teaching online courses
- PhD in Nutrition or DCN, and at least five (5) years of experience
- Teaching/Education experience for at least three (3) years
