THE JOB:
As a Stewarding Supervisor, you’ll oversee the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the kitchen and dishwashing operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll also lead key back-of-house functions while creating a positive, team-driven environment.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Oversee assigned departmental operations in alignment with the strategic plan, budget, and both short- and long-term business goals.

• Lead and support team members through hiring recommendations aligned with diversity values, as well as training, coaching, performance management, disciplinary actions, and scheduling.

• Contribute innovative ideas for improving products, services, technology, and processes.

• Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas and equipment to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and mechanical functionality.

• Assist with inventory management and accurate record-keeping of all dinnerware, flatware, and glassware.

• Manage ordering and restocking of china, glass, and silver to meet operational needs.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Has an understanding of restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, stewarding responsibilities, and proper use of kitchen cleaning materials and equipment.

• Is skilled in setting priorities, planning and coordinating tasks, and effectively managing resources.

• Proven ability to lead, guide, and develop a team.

• Has 2 + years of prior relevant experience

  (Stewarding within the hotel/casino industry required)

• Is able to work a grave shift schedule

• Is at least 21 years of age
