We are looking for a Senior Property Management System Specialist to join the Boeing Global Services Property Management team.  The job location is in San Antonio, TX.

Administers the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report and dispose of property. Assists in performing audits, documenting processes and procedures and investigating and reporting lost or damaged property. Learns to determine property acquisition requirements, product availability and authority to fulfill company, program or contractual obligations. Uses off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish property records for company or government property. Maintains accountability from initial acquisition to final disposition by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to indicate a change of ownership, accountability or location of property in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy. Conducts physical inventory of property and reconciles results to ensure compliance with regulations. Assists in verifying that property records accurately reflect inventory on hand and that equipment servicing requirements are established by responsible organizations. Learns to confirm that service work is scheduled and performed in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts, corporate policy or recommended industry standards. Learns how to determine when property is allowable, reasonable, allocable and utilized in accordance with company or contract requirements. Performs disposition of property identified by company, legal or contractual requirements. Assists with inventory adjustments, liability determinations and title issues. Handles basic property related activities at completion or termination of contract.

The BGS Property Management Specialist will support the management of property for the BGS business to ensure compliance to Government and Boeing regulations. This Property specialist will support the management of property on all programs being supported by BGS San Antonio to ensure compliance to Government contractual regulations and Boeing procedures.

They will assist in implementing and managing a compliant Property (government and company) Management program at BGS San Antonio to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.245-1 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) 252.245-7005 as well as Boeing procedures. 

The successful candidate with work with all company organizations and company sites as well as subcontractors, to ensure all related business aspects meet compliance standards with all FAR government property outcomes.  The position is expected to perform periodic audits to ensure functional elements are being performed in a compliant manner, and create/generate root-cause corrective action plans are in place and completed when audit/review findings are required.

The successful candidate will also assist in managing special projects for the benefit of the BGS Property Management System and may be called upon to take on responsibilities beyond the San Antonio site as needed.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance to Government regulations and Boeing procedures as it pertains to Property Management.

  • Provide support to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to establish a property record for company or government property.

  • Track the movement of property by coordinating, preparing and documenting applicable forms to accomplish a change of ownership, accountability or location in accordance with applicable government regulations, customer contracts or corporate policy.

  • Support project and process plans, in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and partners.

  • Provide oversight of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Educate functional organizations on their roles pertaining to Property Compliance

  • Manage special projects and provide multiple site support as required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • 3+ years of supporting Government Property management and/or Supply Chain/Materials Management requirements and compliance

  • 3+ years of experience in supporting Government or Capital Property

  • 3+ years of experience working on Government programs

  • 3+ year
