Director of Surgical & Orthopedic Services

The Surgical Services Direcctor is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for the business operations for the Surgical Services and Orthopedic Service Lines. The Director has oversight of the Main OR, SPD, Endoscopy, PAT, PACU, and Pain Management. The Director oversees all business operations as they relate to staffing, budget, productivity, program development, services provided, physician relationships, service line strategic planning and growth. The Director provides leadership through high levels of communication and relationship-building, a strong knowledge of the healthcare environments and strong business skills which translate to a positive work environment with excellent patient outcomes. The Surgical Services director also collaborates with other nursing leaders to implement policies, procedures and standards throughout nursing.

Requirements:

Registered Nurse licensed in Indiana

Master degree in Nursing, Management, Business, or Healthcare.

A minimum of five years job related leadership experience.
