REPORTS TO:  Lower School Office Manager  

SUPERVISORS: N/A  

PERFORMANCE ABILITIES:  

A. WORK HABITS  

1. Work with all major departments and divisions to achieve strategic initiatives.  

2. Maintain professionalism in punctuality, dress, speech, and manner.  

3. Communicate and deal effectively with all members of the school community.  

4. Perform in a manner that reflects positively on the school.  

5. Perform all duties as requested by the Head of School.  

6. Maintain a pattern of prompt and regular attendance.  

B. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

RECEPTIONIST  

  1. Control access to Tiger Welcome Center and notify School Resource Office personnel of any or concerns.  
  2. Coordinate pick-up of students in Extended Day program with Extended Day staff.  
  3. Answers parent inquiries and serve as first line of problem resolution.  
  4. Greet and screen visitors at the Tiger Welcome Center and announce or guide them to destination.  
  5. Correspond as necessary with faculty to maintain attendance and other communication throughout the day, keeping classroom disruptions to a minimum.  
  6. Answer telephone, screen and direct calls to appropriate party.  
  7. Compile and log attendance records, including keeping track of tardies and early check-outs.  
  8. Accept items to be delivered to or picked up by students and faculty and staff. Notify office and/or teacher of such items.  
  9. Assist the Office Manager, Admissions and the Parent Association as needed.  
  10. Maintain adequate amounts of forms and supplies in Tiger Welcome Center.  
  11. Process credit card charges as needed.  
  12. Keep records of student dismissal plans and daily changes.  
  13. Update student records in onCampus as needed. 
  14. Process billing for Extended Day program.     

LUNCH COORDINATOR  

  1. Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.  
  2. Maintain the kitchen and eating areas to meet all health standards, including, but not limited to, food temperature logs, equipment temperatures, product expiration dates.  
  3. Participate in health department inspections and address all deficiencies in a timely manner.  
  4. Evaluate food items, equipment, operating supplies, and procedures used in Cub Café.  
  5. Work with members of the Ancillary Manager and IT teams to prepare and distribute lunch menus for student and faculty/staff.  
  6. Work with the school-wide Lunch Program Coordinator Ancillary Manager to order supplemental foods as needed from food service vendor. Sysco.
