Hourly base pay rate is $21.06 - $31.63/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. The Project Support Specialist II is responsible for the successful set-up and configuration of Cox Automotive software suites, with a focus on DT DMS, vAuto, VinSolutions, and/or Xtime. They must possess excellent communication and multitasking abilities, coupled with strong organizational and time management skills. This role involves assisting customers in selecting appropriate settings and configurations to meet their individual dealer needs and ensuring dealer clients understand their purchased products. Additionally, the Specialist will work on data and integration configurations to cater to specific dealer requirements and will be an integral part of the team, providing reliable support during client on-boarding. With a proactive and customer-focused approach, the Project Support Specialist II plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth software implementation and utilization while fostering strong client relationships and collaboration within the team.
What You'll Do
Meet with dealers to review and enter needed setup information
Discuss, compare, verify, and input data within the system as directed by the dealer
Performs final configuration, confirmation, and verification of data and integrations as approved by the dealer
Determines the changes desired with the implementation of the dealers new account to ensure dealer is setup for success
Test and validate that all data is loaded accurately, and all integrations are functioning properly
Effectively communicate onboarding status through daily/weekly updates and final implementation recaps
Successfully complete training/certification for assigned business unit (DMS, Vin, Xtime) and setup single point dealers with minimal account load, working towards successfully managing a full account load and meeting Cox minimum requirements for level II position
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years experience in a related field
Highly motivated self-starter capable of working in a team environment
Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills
Proven ability to effectively articulate and communicate in a way that retains engagement
Exceptional ability to problem-solve, multi-task and prioritize effectively to ensure successful completion of each product launch
Patience with customers of all technical and business skill levels
Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situation with diplomacy and tact
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce applications
Ability to work at a PC using web-based tools for extended periods of time with limited interruptions
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with VinSolutions, vAuto, HomeNet, and Dealertrack a plus
Experience cross-training with the Data and Launch Consultant teams a plus
