In Pulp & Paper, our application expertise, the latest technologies for data-driven process management, digital services, and a complete chemistry portfolio help our customers enhance their sustainability, process efficiency, productivity, and end-product quality.

 

We are looking for an experienced Production Operator for our Marietta Plant within the Pulp & Paper segment.

 

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Transferring chemicals within an industrial environment.

  • Charging materials to react and blend vessels on a large scale.

  • Use of computerized control systems to monitor & troubleshoot batch reactions and blends.

  • Packing finished products and preparing for shipment to customers.

  • Inspecting, loading, and preparing bulk product shipments.

  • Transporting materials via forklift.

  • Housekeeping.

  • Miscellaneous duties during shift relating to the production plan.

  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

  • Respirator use, frequent motor vehicle operation, and use of manual dexterity.

  • Moderate standing, walking, exposure to dust, fumes, or chemical irritants, and exposure to respiratory irritants or sensitizers.

  • Sitting, squatting, bending, working around moving machinery, working on ladders, working in contained areas.

  • Must be able to work all shifts – expect to work the night shift following the training period.

  • Must Frequently Lift   55.1 Pounds
