In this role:

In this role, you will strengthen the security and compliance posture of cloud services hosted on Azure and Power Platform. You will conduct detailed security assessments, identify and document risks, guide engineering teams through remediation, and use automation to improve the efficiency of compliance workflows. This position requires hands-on technical skills, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across security, engineering, and compliance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Security & Risk Assessment

Perform in-depth security and risk assessments for cloud services built on Azure and Power Platform.
Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and compliance gaps, and record them in the Risk Register.
Ensure all risks are accurately linked to remediation tasks and tracked through closure.

Remediation & Engineering Engagement

Partner with engineering teams to drive mitigation progress and validate completed fixes.
Provide hands-on remediation support and host office-hours-style guidance sessions.
Standardize remediation steps and create reusable documentation/playbooks for future scenarios.

Compliance & Telemetry Analysis

Analyze compliance and security telemetry using Azure Data Explorer (Kusto).
Produce insights, dashboards, and reports that help quantify risk impact.
Support ongoing security and compliance campaigns across the organization.

Automation & Workflow Optimization

Build or enhance automation for compliance validation, risk tracking, and remediation processes.
Support integration of secure engineering practices into CI/CD pipelines.
