Global packaging Intern

Do you want to join a large French company with iconic brands? Join Pernod Ricard Procure department as the next Global Packaging Intern, starting in February/March  2024 to participate to the deployment of the procurement, packaging development and eco design group roadmap.

Your key missions:

• Mission : Support the packaging manager on the 4 pillars of Pernod Ricard Procure :  sustainability, margin improvement, quality and security of supply, accelerated innovation.
  • Participate to the deployment of the project « Design to Sustainable Value », support affiliates on the understanding of the process and toolbox.
  • Follow up the affiliates action plans to reach the sustainable packaging KPIs of the group (% of certified cardboards, % PCR content in glass and PET, % of packaging recyclable, reusable or compostable), document and escalate in case of risk of missing the target. Analyse the affiliates datas available every 3 months.
  • Support the launch of the pilot of the group packaging specification tool. If needed, train the users, bring them support needed to the good use of the tool.
  • Raise awareness of marketing, procurement and packaging teams to eco design and more specifically, to our internal guidelines (Sustainable packaging guidelines).

Size and scope of intervention:

Main stakeholders : Purchasing category managers (glass, closures and labels, secondary packaging), Sustainability team (S&R and sustainable performance), Development managers / purchasing managers / marketing managers from the affiliates.

If you recognize yourself in the description below, don’t wait to apply!   

• You study at an Engineering School with ideally a packaging or material specialization
• Your first experience is recommended, ideally in packaging development
• You are fluent in English. French is a plus.
• Knowledge and references: curious, rigorous, autonomous, involved and with very good analysis and synthesis skills, a specific appetence for sustainability, all in a good team spirit.
• Know-how and tools: excellent mastery of the Office package (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and database management
• Soft skills: endowed with a good relationship, you are ready (e) to evolve in an international environment and are recognized (e) for your capacity to work in team and your sense of the service

 

Please note: to apply, you must be available for a 6-month internship and have an agreement issued by your school/university.
