Accounting Specialist (A2R), Viby

Located at our office in Viby, you will be part of a highly experienced and engaged team and play a vital part in the further development of our A2R organisation of approximately 70 people. 

 

A proactive business partner within accounting

You will join a dedicated and highly skilled team of three colleagues in A2R DK Finance with a focus on financial controlling. You will provide trusted advisory on various accounting and reporting issues, and with the responsibility of preparing our DK statutory accounts.

As Accounting Specialist, you will take on the role as Chief Accountant for a number of Danish entities. In this role you will be a team member and sparring partner for your colleagues in the A2R team in Denmark and in Gdansk, Poland as well as taking lead on external audit facilitation, preparation of Danish statutory accounts etc. across all Danish entities. Your tasks will also include: 

• Together with the team manage monthly group reporting for Danish entities

• Perform financial controlling and ensure compliance to internal and external accounting requirements

• Support the organization within your area of accounting expertise

• Proactively ensure that accounting impact from business developments are captured properly and in line with IFRS

• Continuously challenge accounting processes and controls and drive improvements

• Support the A2R journey and help achieving the full E2E process view

• Working closely together cross border with colleagues in the A2R organisation and the extended team

• Take part in local and global projects including new digital solutions

 

A great communicator with solid experience

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with specialization in Accounting or equivalent. This you combine with at least two to three years’ experience from working with qualified accounting questions, preferably within one of the Big 4, which has given you comprehensive knowledge of accounting regulations (IFRS) / ÅRL, internal controls and understanding of business processes. Knowledge of internal management accounting and reporting is preferable. Proficiency in Danish and English is required, both written and spoken.

 

Your personal qualities are vital for success. You need to be able to independently manage projects and calmly take on periods of higher pace. You understand the importance of providing great service to stakeholders and customers. Your communication skills are good, and you work just as well in teams as you do on your own. Like us, we expect you are positive and flexible with a calm and structured approach.
