About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst, to support Consumer Technology. This role will be responsible for partnering with the CIO and CFO organizations supporting Consumer Banking & Lending Business. This highly visible role will have ownership and accountability for all financial management activities across Consumer Technology including financial planning and analysis, reporting, workforce management, vendor management, and portfolio financial management. Strong technical abilities with knowledge of financial systems/related process workflows and the ability to simplify/analyze large data sets in order to tell the story behind the financials will be critical for this role. Additionally, this role will require leadership and the ability to influence/partner and drive transformational change to the financial environment and underlying processes across the entire Technology organization.
In this role, you will:
- Cultivate and strengthen partnerships across Consumer Technology, Finance and broader business teams, collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive results and execute deliverables
- Develop and enhance financial, business and product analytics and metrics to support business strategies and leadership decision-making to drive improved financial outcomes
- Drive forecast deliverables, including the annual financial budget, monthly forecast updates, and the Monthly Business Review materials for executive review
- Ad hoc reporting and analysis as necessary
- Drive and support critical strategic initiatives
- Analyze important issues and complex situations using data to derive actionable insight
- Support Technology Finance transformation activities to create a target state operating model
- Lead complex initiatives on matters related to financial research and reporting as well as financial consulting related to business performance
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- Leadership experience supporting Consumer Technology or Technology Finance
- Strong stakeholder management and developing relationships with internal and external partners
- Experience assessing and analyzing large data sets and transforming into actionable insights
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Ability to understand core technology concepts and common software development practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to effectively translate business and financial requirements into clear practical guidance for technological teams
- Familiarity with enterprise planning systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion Essbase), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and emerging AI technologies
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and experience delivering presentations to senior leaders
- Ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes amid ambiguity, and develop alternative solutions

- This position offers a hybrid work schedule from our Charlotte, NC location.
