Are you ready to make a real impact in the lives of individuals on their recovery journey? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Peer Recovery Support Specialist to join our team and be a beacon of hope for clients reclaiming their lives from mental illness, addiction, and trauma.
Some Key Duties:
- Deliver services that embrace strengths-based, client-centered, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Support clients through individual and family wellness plans, including skills-building, health promotion, and crisis planning.
- Actively collaborate with clients, families, and community partners to drive recovery outcomes.
- Lead peer groups and provide health and wellness education tailored to client needs.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and meet productivity expectations.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; 60+ hours of higher education preferred.
- Lived experience as a consumer of mental health services is essential.
- Minimum 1 year experience in Community Mental Health or mental health related field.
- Certification as an ODMHSAS Peer Recovery Support Specialist (or ability to certify within 60 days).
- WRAP facilitator certification is a plus!
- Strong understanding of mental health recovery and wellness principles.
- Tech-savvy with MS Word and general computer skills.
- Valid Oklahoma driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
- CPR, First Aid, and Therapeutic Options certifications (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
