Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Talent Advisor/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The Senior Talent Advisor at Sirtex is a customer service focused talent acquisition professional who will be responsible for sourcing, identifying, interviewing and assisting in the hiring of new employees.  The ideal candidate will possess strong recruitment skills, a deep understanding of employment branding, and experience in various HR functions (DE&I, onboarding, HRIS, HR compliance and employee engagement).  The talent advisor will work cross-functionally with hiring managers to attract and hire world class talent for Sirtex Medical.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:

This role reports directly to the: Director, Talent Acquisition

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively attract and engage individuals for openings within the US, with a focus on providing a world-class candidate experience to prospective employees.
  • End to end recruitment to include but not limited to conducting intake meetings with hiring managers, position recruitment, candidate scheduling (as needed), interview debrief, and offer delivery.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop search strategies and processes for business-critical positions.
  • Act as an advocate for both Sirtex and candidate throughout the hiring process; establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through resulting in a best in-class candidate and client experience.
  • Lead and champion employment branding initiatives to enhance our organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Develop and implement strategies to showcase our workplace culture through various channels.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of DE&I initiatives.
  • Assist as needed in other areas of human resources such as onboarding, employee engagement, HR compliance and HR systems.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and key performance indicators.
  • Positively promote Sirtex Medical while observing and complying with all Sirtex Corporate Policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Psychology or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience preferably in both a corporate and agency setting.
  • 5+ years of Pharmaceutical/Medical Device experience (Medical Device preferred), including experience hiring within commercial (sales/marketing), QA/RA, medical/clinical affairs, operations and other disciplines within a commercial organization. 
  • Creative, out-of-the box thinker who thrives on discovering new ways to locate top talent
  • A self-starter with high standards, delivering with a sense of urgency; operating with a strong customer relationship and satisfaction approach, in a matrixed global organization.
  • Positive “can-do” attitude consistently delivering above expectations.
  • Experience with employment branding, process improvement and creative ways to raise the bar in talent acquisition. 
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed and other recruiting related job sites.
  • HR generalist experience outside of recruiting (HRIS, compensation, onboarding, DE&I initiatives, HR compliance & employee engagement) highly preferred.
  • Ability to work with high level of uncertainty and quickly changing priorities.
  • Strong administrative skills, outlook calendar management.
