Technical Project Manager, Data Centers Operations & Strategy

POSITION OVERVIEW

SDC Technology Services, L.L.C. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. As a leading provider of data center solutions, our mission is to deliver a seamless experience to our customers by investing in great people and great facilities.

The Technical Project Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of multiple projects. They will collaborate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects in a fast-paced environment.

This position is 100% remote and would be preferred in the following local markets: Chicago, Dallas, San Antonio and Phoenix. Travel is expected to be between 20-30% to regional data center site across the U.S. as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to successfully execute projects, ensuring alignment with overall company goals
• Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
• Track and report project status to key stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns
• Conduct project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process improvement
• Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure quality deliverables and timely execution of project tasks
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals and participating in client meetings and presentations

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience in project management, managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented and analytical, with the ability to solve complex problems
• Proficient in project management software and tools

 The pay range for this role is between $105,000 - $150,000 (base). Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, location, and other job-related reasons.
