We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer with a focus on developing complex systems to serve as a Team Lead for multiple efforts as part of the Distributed Resource Mgmt & C2 IRAD. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-performance applications and will be involved in all stages of the software development lifecycle. You will work remotely with occasional on-site presence in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. 

What You Will Do:

• The C2 SW product team uses DevSecOps processes and best industry practices to provide mission critical applications and platform services to meet the threats of today and tomorrow.

• Design, develop, and test software updates existing software baseline to drive C2 capabilities forward

• As a lead, support hiring, discussions on team issues/concerns, leads different team meetings, and drive different scope. 

• Engage with relevant stakeholders and other teams to ensure alignment of work

• Maintain Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.

• Work remote with occasional on-site presence at Portsmouth, RI location.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience

• Experience in analysis, design, integration, testing, and troubleshooting software.

• Experience working in a team-focused development environment, such as Agile/SCRUM.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

•  Python, GoLang

• Containerized Deployments

• Combat Systems experience

• Experience with Java, containerized deployments (including Docker, Kubernetes), Gitlab etc.

• Experience working with automated testing and continuous integration and deployment.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
