Job Description

THE JOB:
 

As a Busperson for Mandalay Bay, you will contribute to the incredible experiences for our guests by maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the dining room, storerooms, food pick-up area, and beverage station. If you have a passion for guest service and elevating our guests' experience, this is the opportunity for you!
 

THE STARTING RATE: $14.2187

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Work with servers, managers, and other team members to ensure proper guest service is delivered

• Proactively address guest concerns, requests, and needs

• Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly, and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas 

• Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed

• Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.

• 6 months of prior experience as a Busperson or Food Runner in an upscale dining environment.
