Live Production Campus Video Operator
Summary of Position:
This position is to fulfill the role as Video Operator at the Grand Prairie campus. This position will require event preparation, directing and technical directing live video for events. This is a full-time position and reports directly to the campus Live Production manager.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Direct live multi-cam video at the campus
- Lead and train other staff and volunteers in the video department.
- Schedule camera team for weekend and weekday events.
- Be available for all scheduled load in, load outs, events and training seminars
- Maintain video gear and campus inventory
- Perform required administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Utilize a Monday board to stay organized
- Support the Lighting department for maintenance, configuration and operate the GrandMA3 if needed.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Role Specific
- At least three years of experience as a multi-cam director
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Well-rounded understanding of campus video system workflows
- Well-rounded knowledge of Sony switchers and cameras, routers, and general video systems
- Be able to setup, wire, run and perform a video system check in a timely manner
- Must maintain cleanliness and stay organized and always look professional
- Lighting knowledge is a plus.

- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time-management skills and multitasking ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new software and systems like Slack, Monday.com, etc.
General Requirements:
- Must be available to work weekdays and weekends as needed.
- Must be available to work a minimum of 3 weekends per month. Employee will be allowed to take Thursday and/or Friday off.
General Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Sit/stand for long periods of time.
- Occasionally kneel or crouch.
- Lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
