What is this role? 

As the Fulfillment & Retail Production Manager for Cirkul, you will play a key role in Cirkul’s geographic expansion to a Western state. The Fulfillment & Retail Production Manager (F&RM) will be responsible for guiding both DTC fulfillment and retail pallet buildout while ensuring safety, quality and production excellence. The F&RM will also be responsible for leading, coaching, developing and training. This position will require travel from the Cirkul West Plant to the Tampa, FL facilities. 

What does an average day look like?

Driving Results: Build, maintain and improve DTC fulfillment and retail pallet buildout operations with focus on optimizing KPIs including safety, quality, production, cost, and staffing to world-class levels.

Taking Ownership: Set department goals (daily, monthly & yearly) for the fulfillment and retail teams with a focus on continuous improvement and growth mindset.

Making Decisions: Apply Cirkul's best practices in fulfillment and retail while developing new best practices where needed.

Cultivating Relationships: Attract, retain, coach, develop and empower employees at all levels.

Instilling Trust: Develop and implement a world class culture and work systems.

Customer Focus: Ensure that Cirkul's safety, quality and production standards are being met to deliver a high-quality product to our customers every time.

What background should you have? 

• Four year degree in a related, business or technical field such as business, operations management, engineering, or the equivalent in experience.
• 3+ years of fulfillment and/or retail buildout leadership leadership in a high velocity environment with roles of increasing responsibility
• Demonstrated ability to make autonomous decisions with minimal guidance
• Significant experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, Kaizen,  autonomous maintenance and 5S implementation
• Demonstrated ability to manage both salaried professionals and hourly production associates in executing complex, operational programs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, and demonstrate resilience
• Have a positive attitude, willing to work with multiple levels of employees, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
